Dexter also holds a Certificate in Arts Education from Pratt Institute and was a founding teacher of the Film and Media Studio at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, where he and Kevin began their creative collaboration.

Beyond his cinematic endeavors, Kevin passionately advances film and media arts education. As a New York City Public High School Principal, Kevin is uniquely positioned to create enduring pathways between CTE Classrooms and the expansive world of Film & Television.

Derek’s unwavering commitment to his craft, coupled with his ability to connect with directors and find the true essence of a diverse range of projects makes him an in-demand cinematographer. Between projects, Derek enjoys playing ice hockey and tennis, as well as geeking out on all things aviation and space travel.
